What TAP won't build

Some things shouldn't be automated. Some features would make the product worse. Here's where we draw the line.

TAP will never send on your behalf.

Every pitch goes through you. Relationships are too important to automate. You draft, you review, you send. Always.

TAP will never call a contact a “lead”.

They’re people you work with, not entries in a pipeline. Warmth scoring based on real relationship history is useful. Predictive lead scoring is not.

TAP will never show you vanity metrics.

If a number doesn’t help you make a better decision, it doesn’t belong on screen. No reach estimates, no engagement scores, no dashboards for the sake of dashboards.

TAP will never auto-follow-up.

Follow-up timing is a judgement call. An algorithm can suggest. Only you can decide when the moment is right.

TAP will never replace your judgement with an algorithm.

AI drafts. AI suggests. You decide. There is no button that does the whole job. PR requires judgement at every step.

TAP will never gamify your outreach.

No streaks, no badges, no leaderboards, no “you’re on fire” notifications. This is serious work, not a game.

TAP will never sacrifice calm for features.

Every feature is evaluated against a simple test: does this increase noise, remove control, risk embarrassment, or treat relationships as disposable? If yes, it doesn’t ship.

Built by someone who's done the work.

For people who still do. Independent artist planning a release? totalaud.io might be a better fit.
