§ About

One person, both jobs.

TAP is built and run by me, Chris Schofield. I plug records to UK radio and I release my own music. TAP is the desk I wanted for both.

Chris Schofield

I have spent five years pitching UK radio for other artists. That work is less glamorous than it sounds. It is a spreadsheet of producers, a pitch rewritten for each one, a follow-up on the right day, and a coverage report at the end that nobody enjoys building.

I also release my own music as sadact. Same problem from the other side: finish a track, feel good about it for a day, then open a blank document and try to remember how you start.

So I built the thing I kept wishing existed. TAP does the preparation, which is the part that eats the week. It plans the release backwards from your date, writes the press release and the pitches from your brief, and keeps every reply and play against the person who sent it. You read every message and decide whether it goes.

No middleman taking a cut of your music. No monthly fee for something you use twice a year. Pay for a release when you have a release.

§ The work behind it

I built TAP to run my own releases.

These are my own releases, prepared and tracked on the desk I am selling you. Every figure is a count from the record rather than an estimate, read on 9 September 2026, covering February to July 2026.

1,197
radio plays logged
100
stations that played a track
137
pieces of coverage logged
11
releases run end to end

Radio plays are logged from airplay monitoring, not self-reported. Coverage is logged against the contact it came from, so the record shows which relationship produced it. The same logging runs on your releases.

§ My own release

The press kit on my own record.

I make French house as sadact. My next single, On My Mind, is out on 2 October 2026, and its press kit was built in TAP the same way yours would be: the story, the facts, the artwork, the private stream and the press release, on one link I can paste into any pitch.

It is a real page for a real release, not a mockup. Open the kit and judge the output before you pay for any of it.

§ Where I draw the line

Some things I will not build.

TAP will not send a word you have not read, will not promise a playlist placement, and will not treat the people you know as rows to be worked through. The full list, and why each one is on it, is on the principles page. The comparison page covers how TAP sits next to your other options.
